What type of information do we have and how do we get it?

The personal data we collect comes directly from customers who have contacted us via the website, email, or social media channels. Personal data can include any or all of the following:

Other information customers intentionally share such as testimonials and feedback

Why do we collect personal data and how will we use it?

Under GDPR, we must have a lawful basis for using personal data. Your personal data may be used for one or more of the following purposes:

Supplying our products to you

How do we store your personal data?

Contact details are stored on a password protected computer and backed up by a cloud storage system.
Please be aware that all reasonable steps are taken to prevent unauthorised access to the computers concerned.
We will not keep your personal data for any longer than is necessary in light of the reason(s) for which is was first collected. If you purchase a product from us, we are required under UK tax law for sole traders to keep records for a minimum of 5 years after which time your personal data will be destroyed.
Your information we use for marketing purposes will be kept with us until you notify us that you no longer wish to receive this information.

How to complain

What’s your strength?® wants you to be confident that your personal data is treated respectfully and confidentially and that we are taking all necessary precautions to ensure your data is only accessed by those who need to do so. However, if you feel we have mishandled your data in some way you have the right to complain.
